Warehouse
a_l1_warehouse
Tall racks, pallets, abandoned forklifts, and wooden crates form long aisles. Some containers seem to appear or disappear whenever no one is watching.
Inventory Without a Warehouseman
The warehouse resembles an industrial facility waiting for a shift that never begins. Racks and pallet lanes stretch beyond the available light, while crate labels contradict their contents. Food, bottled drinks, and tools may sit beside broken glass, decayed material, or objects with no clear purpose.
Unobserved Stock
The crates do not behave like stable inventory. An empty aisle may fill after a wanderer turns away, and a previously stacked section may later contain only sawdust. Heavy objects are heard moving deep between the racks, but the source is usually a newly cleared aisle.
Inventory Principle
A label is a warning, not proof of contents. Stock changes most often when unobserved, so record stable rack structure rather than crate count before leaving a cleared aisle.
