A multiplayer Backrooms survival game built for VRChat. Enter anomalous areas, protect your health and sanity, document entities, and find an extraction route before the space swallows you.

Read the files. Then enter the Backrooms.
The official site includes a searchable Wiki modeled directly on the in-game archive room, with separate records for areas, entities, organizations, items and survival systems.
Browse all records →Yellow Rooms
Yellowed wallpaper, damp carpet, and fluorescent lights that never stop humming form an endless service maze. Nearly identical rooms join together in ways that cannot be trusted.
Red Rooms
Two sealed vertical structures interlock beneath emergency-red light. Crossing stairs, split-level bridges, and impossible apertures surround a blue-and-gold shrine to Jerry.
Reshaped Chaos
This is not a fixed collection of rooms but a structure that keeps revising itself. When the lights fail, the outer spaces reconnect in a new order.
Underground Parking
A grey concrete parking level without a visible boundary. Massive columns, empty bays, and looping ramps repeat beneath cold white and sodium lighting.
Warehouse
Tall racks, pallets, abandoned forklifts, and wooden crates form long aisles. Some containers seem to appear or disappear whenever no one is watching.
Concrete Garden
Vines, moss, ferns, and shrubs grow through concrete without soil or daylight, gradually concealing the skeleton of the artificial structure.

The archive records only the known. The Backrooms are always larger.
Backrooms VR is a multiplayer survival game built for VRChat. We keep creating new areas, entities, items and in-game systems so each expedition presents new risks and extraction choices.
Early support funds full-version development. It does not buy a gameplay advantage; it creates a permanent support record and unlocks an optional commemorative nameplate style.
