Report Cheating
Many VRChat worlds have long been affected by save editing and other forms of cheating. We cannot tolerate behavior that undermines a fair playing environment.
We have detected multiple cheaters in our systems, including some supporters. They obtained resources through save editing, item duplication, and other unfair methods, damaging the game environment. We are collecting reports supported by written accounts or screenshots. A report is not a finding of guilt; every report requires review.
How confirmed cases are handled
- Once cheating is confirmed through review, we will flag the account’s VRChat ID on our server. Each time the player joins, they will be confined to “Level 363 — You cheated.” and prevented from entering the outpost. If the player is a supporter, we will refund their support payments and revoke their supporter listing.
- Flagged accounts will have one week from being flagged and notified to: (1) remove their cheated save data; (2) seek a refund from anyone they paid to cheat on their behalf; and (3) provide evidence that they no longer retain cheated save data.
- If the issue remains unresolved after one week, the VRChat ID flag will remain, and we will publish the player’s name together with reviewed, anonymized evidence. Reporter identities, contact details, and unrelated personal information will be removed before publication.
Submit an anonymous report
Anonymous reporting: you do not need to enter your own VRChat name, ID, email, or other identity information. The name and ID below belong to the person you are reporting. Original evidence is private to administrators and is not published on submission.
