a_l2_abandoned
Brick arches and rough concrete contain sewage channels, corroded grilles, broken walkways, overflow gates, and abandoned pumping rooms.
Below the Utility Halls
The sewers occupy the lower, wetter infrastructure of Level 2. Brick vaults and concrete channels repeat around broken service walks and dead pump rooms. Steam and decay remain trapped beneath the low ceiling, so the standing water never makes the air feel cool.
Water With No Weather
Oil film, chemical foam, metal fragments, and fibrous masses drift through the channels. Water levels rise without rain or scheduled discharge, and pumps disconnected for years occasionally shudder into motion before the system falls silent again.
Water-Level Assessment
Flow direction does not indicate a safe exit, and a restarting pump may change downstream depth before the sound arrives. Use rail height, wall staining, and climbable structure together as flood margin.
