An Office Waiting for Its Staff
Workstations, meeting rooms, filing cabinets, water dispensers, and vending machines remain in place beneath cold white lighting. Blacked-out windows prevent any view beyond the building. The absence of people feels less like abandonment than a pause maintained by the building itself.
The Corridor Watches Back
Cameras rotate with small mechanical movements until their dark lenses settle on an intruder. Indicator lights brighten, the office alarm begins, and the silence is replaced by sounds approaching through halls that appeared empty moments earlier.
Cameras First
Water coolers, vending machines, and office supplies familiar from community accounts may still appear, but the local file ranks camera state above them. Black windows, stopped clocks, and empty desks do not expose a position; a turning lens does.
